Women in London went on strike on March 8 to mark International Women's Day.
The rally, which coincided with similar strikes around the world, was held at Russell Square.
The strike called for women to take action on women’s rights issues. “The organisers of the day-long strike said around 2,000 congregated in London’s Russel Square to mark International Women’s Day,” HuffPost UK reported.
