more-in

The High Court on Thursday dismissed petitions, filed by the accused in the murder of RSS worker Rudresh, questioning the NIA special court's order of refusing to discharge them.

A division bench comprising Justice B.S. Patil and Justice K.S. Mudagal passed the order while dismissing petitions filed by Asim Sharief, Waseem Ahmed, Mujeeb, Sadiq and Irfan Pasha.

Rudresh was murdered in October 2016. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had taken over the probe and filed a charge sheet.
