Filatex India has commended commercial production at its Dahej unit. The expansion scheme, which will add to the manufacturing facilities at Dahej, has commenced from March 7, the company said in a notice to the stock exchanges. In January, the company had said that it was putting up additional manufacturing facilities for 195 tpd of bright polyester fully drawn yarn and 85 tpd of bright chip at Dahej. Investors will monitor the development.
