Chester Bennington's wife launches mental health awareness campaign

Talinda Bennington, wife of late Chester Bennington, today launched a mental health awareness campaign on the frontman's birthday. The initiative, called 320 Changes Direction, aims to support people with mental health issues while also working towards transforming the culture and stigma around it. Taking to on rocker's 42nd birthday, Talinda asked his fans to post photos of themselves holding their hands up with 'I Am The Change' written on them. "To honour Chester, asking you to Change Direction. On March 20th, post a picture holding up your hand, which symbolises you know the 5 signs of emotional well-being.

Write 'I Am The Change' on your hand. Because the change begins within ourselves," Talinda tweeted. The 'I Am The Change' hands symbolises the five signs of emotional well-being which are -- take care, check in, engage, relax and know. Bennington, 41, was found dead at his home on July 20, 2017. His death was later ruled as suicide by a coroner.
