Ever since David Tennant was confirmed to appear in Jessica Jones Season 2, fans have been wondering how Kilgrave would be incorporated into the story. After all, it's kind of hard to walk around New York City when your neck's been snapped, which is what happened in Season 1.

The details of Kilgrave's appearance are being kept under lock and key, but we did get the cast to give us a few hints about the episode in which he'll return.

"I think someone like him, even though he's dead, [he] doesn't just disappear," Carrie-Ann Moss teased. "[He] leaves an energy. He's left his mark, so we get to see that, what that means."

Rachael Taylor took it one step further, promising that the episode he'll pop up in will be "one of the deepest, darkest episodes" of the season.

Jessica Jones Manages to Benefit and Suffer from Working Outside the Box

The leading theory is that Kilgrave will appear as a sort of hallucination for Jessica (Krysten Ritter), either because of her PTSD or some sort of dream state. The photo of him hovering over Jessica's shoulder while she stares, stricken at whatever he's whispering to her sure seems like a hallucination.

When asked just how Kilgrave's little visit would pan out for Jessica, Krysten Ritter would only say, "I would encourage you to watch and see what happens."

As if there's any way we wouldn't immediately binge watch the new season the second it drops?

All 13 episodes of Marvel's Jessica Jones' second season will debut Thursday, March 8 on Netflix.
