WATCH: Warner swears at De Kock before bust-up

2018-03-07 11:07

Cape Town - New footage has emerged of Australian opener David Warner sledging Quinton de Kock before the pair had their tunnel bust-up at Kingsmead on Sunday.

A now infamous video that showed Warner confronting De Kock in the Kingsmead tunnel at the end of the second session has seen both players charged by the ICC

Since then, there have been numerous suggestions of exactly what happened with Warner accused of having insulted De Kock's family while De Kock reportedly made derogatory remarks about Warner's wife.

The Aussies have backed their man, stating that at no point did Warner cross the line.

But Fox News in Australia published a new video on Wednesday that shows the moments leading up to the altercation in the tunnel.

In the video, Warner can be seen and heard calling De Kock a "f***ing sook".

'Sook' is a common term in Australia that is used to describe somebody who complains a lot.

De Kock reportedly hit back with a comment about Warner's wife shortly after this as the players were walking up the tunnel, and that is what set Warner off.

The second Test starts in PE on Friday.
