Ajmer: Class XII board examination of Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will start from Thursday. Board has tightened security for the question papers as well as to conduct the examination. Class X board examination will start from March 15.
According to board, total 8 lakh 26 thousand and 570 students are registered for Class XII board examinations in which 5 lakhs 37 thousand and 259 are in stream of humanities, 42 thousand 665 in commerce and rest of them are in science stream. The examination of Varishta Upadhyaya will also start from Thursday in which 3,266 students are registered. Class XII examination will over on April 2 and the first paper will be of English language.
Officials stated that CCTV cameras are installed at every sensitive and extra sensitive examination centre in the state. Control room at board office has started functioning. “We have also made 48 answer books collection centres and 12 sub collection centre in the state,” said an official.
Board will conduct examination on 5,507 centres and it is kept in notice that students should not cover more distance to reach the centre. This year 109 centres are increased in compare to last year. Board will kept the question papers of 4,648 centres in nearby police stations while question papers of 326 will be kept in nearby police chowki, papers of 147 centres will be kept at nodal centre. Question paper for 42 centres of Sikar and six of Jalore are kept in police lines. There are 326 centres whose paper will be kept in the centre.
Board identified 66 centres as sensitive and 31 as extra sensitive in the state and CCTV cameras are installed to note every movement in class room. First time seven women flying squads are constituted and all flying are directed to inspect the remote examination centre in their district. Board Chairman BL Choudhary said that if students have any problem or complaint related to question paper then they should send their complaint through centre superintendent. He said that strictness will be kept against cheating and mobile phones are not allowed in the radius of 100 meters of the centre.
