
The Chinese platform, owned by the Lenovo Group, has appointed Ventes Avenues as its exclusive sales partner agency for the same.
With 400-million downloads in four years, India is the largest market for SHAREit, even bigger than its home market China. Globally, the platform has over 1.3 billion users in more than 200 countries.
"This is our first step towards monetisation and we are starting with India. We have already tied up with brands such as Xiaomi and Samsung, among others, and expect to have 100 brands advertising with us this year," said Neel Sapre, head of sales (branding) at SHAREit.
