CHANDIGARH: Class X students who appeared for their CBSE
Hindi paper on Tuesday, seemed to be in a jovial mood as we spotted quite a few smiling faces outside the exam centres.
The general ambience was that of satisfaction as the students claimed the paper was not that tough. Even the unseen passage as well as the grammatical section were easy as compared to that in the pre-board exams.
Even the teachers were elated saying the paper was easy. Archna, principal and Hindi teacher of Sharda Sarvhitkari School in Sector 40, said, "It was a cakewalk. It was a very well-balanced and an easy paper. Even an average student will score very well."
Rohan, a student from the Government High Model School, Dhanas said, "I have only gratitude for my teachers that they groomed us well. The questions were based on their class notes that was a huge relief for us. Extra classes were organised for our class and it has helped."
"I am happy with today's examination. Most of the questions were the ones which were taught in the class room. I was a bit nervous before the paper, but after coming out from the examination hall, I am brimming with confidence," said Shivangi Jassal, a class X student.
Ishita Negi, another student from the Government High Model School, Dhanas said, "Finally the board exam fear has reduced. Today's paper was a scoring paper. I am now looking forward to the next paper. For the last 15 days I was continuously reading books and class notes."
Similarly, another student, Sahil Saini added, "The paper was easy as compared to the pre-board exams. The new examination pattern has been adopted this year. I finished the paper 10 minutes before the allotted time."
Some parents were eagerly waiting for their children outside the school gate of the DAV Model Secondary School, Sector 15 to find out the reactions of their children.
Rajeshlata, mother of Bhanupratap, heaved a sigh of relief after her daughter attempted the whole paper. She was very hopeful that her daughter would cross 75 out of 80.
After the examination, students were seen discussing the next exam which is English and is scheduled for March 12.
For class XII students they have physics coming up on Wednesday.
