Eight years ago, the Bristol County Chamber of Commerce which back then was the Fall River Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry partnered with The Herald News, the Taunton Daily Gazette and Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School to introduce the first ever Bristol County Home and Garden Show. It was a great success with over 1,400 people attending the event.
Last year was our seventh Home and Garden Show at the Diman field house facilities. The goal was to improve the expo event by adding more landscaping and outdoor elements. Over 2,700 people took advantage of all the great one-day deals offered by exhibitors. It was simply an incredible experience that is still being talked about.
Establishing a regional home and garden show is one of many efforts by the Bristol County Chamber of Commerce to connect local companies with consumers in a year round campaign to promote shopping locally. On behalf of the business community, the Chamber wants to personally thank The Herald News, the Taunton Daily Gazette and our event sponsor, Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School for helping the Chamber fulfill its mission.
The Chamber and its partners are currently preparing for the 8th annual Home and Garden Show that will be held at Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School on Saturday, March 10. Our local contractors and companies that specialize in servicing the home and garden industry are among the best in their respective disciplines. This event is designed to spotlight their many services, talents and knowledge and to connect them with area residents.
The Bristol County Home and Garden Show has something for everyone. Created as a jam-packed one day event, it will be bigger than last year having booths filled with cutting edge ideas and products for your home and garden along with many opportunities to save money on almost any home improvement project. Whether you want to turn your master bath into a relaxation spa, expand your deck to create additional entertainment space, or learn more about adding solar energy systems for your home, we are certain that you will find many of the tools and expert advice to get that home project completed.
On Saturday, March 10th, the Chamber and its partners will assemble vendors who specialize in roofing, plumbing, windows, water systems, flooring, lawn care equipment, landscaping, solar energy conversions, concrete and other contractors. There will be repair and replacement professionals, home décor, home furnishings, crafters, area artists, family entertainment, audio & video dealers, financial institutions & lenders and much, much more. Many exhibitors will bring in consultants from a number of different fields to be on hand for estimates and to provide additional expert advice.
Don’t forget that vendors at the expo offer “show only specials!” There will also be food and product demonstrations, prize drawings, giveaways and other offers you won’t find anywhere else. All who attend the 8th annual Bristol County Home and Garden Show are in for a great day of fun. What do you have to lose? Admission is free!
Respectfully,
