Tamil Nadu: Petrol bomb hurled at BJP office in Coimbatore

A petrol bomb was thrown at the office of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) by unknown miscreants in Chithapudhur area of Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore.
The incident was reported on Wednesday morning around 4 am.
According to the police, the BJP office was closed when it was attacked and there were no reports of injuries.
Currently, the police are on the lookout for the perpetrators.
An eyewitness Manoj Kumar said, "I heard a noise. Three people came out of a vehicle, threw the petrol bombs and fled back in the same vehicle."
Following the attack, the security near the BJP office in Chennai has been heightened. No vehicles are being allowed to pass through the area as it has been barricaded from all sides.
