No change in timings for Cujira schools

| Mar 8, 2018, 03:50 IST
Panaji: Director of education G P Bhat, said the staggered timings implemented last year for schools at the Cujira integrated school complex will continue despite the new plan that will be implemented to ease traffic movement there.

Officials said when the complex becomes fully operational in June, there will be as many as 7,000 students studying at Cujira.

Consequently, schools at the complex would still be required to open and close five to 15 minutes apart from one another if traffic is to flow smoothly.

The director of education also said the six schools that have shifted to the Cujira complex would not be allowed to operate any new educational institutions from their old premises in Panaji.
