3 booked for attacking 19-year-old

Aishbagh police have booked three miscreants for attacking a 19-year-old youth on March 2 at 80 Ft road under Aishbagh police station area; a case was registered on Monday.

The incident took place in the night on March 2 when the victim Akshay Kushwaha of Pushpa Nagar was attacked by three scooter borne miscreants with sharp edged weapon and escaped the spot.

After the attack when the locals and commuters spotted the victim bleeding police and ambulance were informed and he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he remained under treatment for three days and later lodged a complaint with the Aishbagh police.

The victim was attacked in his face below eyes and before he could understand that he would be attacked and could raise alarm miscreants escaped the spot. The victim works as a security guard at MPEB Govindpura office.The miscreants were on a red coloured Honda Activa scooter which was not having registration number. The miscreants obstructed victim’s way and pillion rider took sharp edged weapon and attacked in his face.

Based on the complaint lodged by the victim after the preliminary investigation police have registered a case under section 324 and 34 of the IPC and have started further investigation.

 The search for the attackers has been intensified and details of the attackers have been investigated to find the whereabouts of the absconding attackers.
