Karnataka Lokayukta Justice Vishwanath Shetty has allegedly been stabbed in his office in Bengaluru. The accused has been identified as Tejas Sharma.

A retired High Court judge, Vishwanath Shetty took over as the Karnataka Lokayukta in January last year.

Vishwanath Shetty is currently undergoing treatment at the Mallya Hospital.

Karnataka Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy said Lokayukta Vishwanath Shetty is out of danger.
