Now plane tyres will not burst while landing

The tyres of planes landing at Raja Bhoj Airport will not burst or deflate as runway recarpeting work is in progress since 1 November 2016 and the work is likely to be finished this month.

For 2,447m long runway, the work of recarpeting had started from November 1 2016. The work of recarpeting will be completed this month. The work of recarpeting of total main runway of 2447m has been completed. To give final touches to this runway will require another 10-12 days.

After the completion of work Air India, Jet Airways, Indigo and some other airlines would be able to resume services from Bhopal airport, which were discontinued.
