A day after a man chopped off the wrist of his son for watching movies on his mobile phone was taken into custody, police on Tuesday.
It was on Monday that Mohammed Qaiyoom chopped off his son Md Khaled’s hand with a meat cleaver. Cops said that a tussle between the father-son duo had occurred in the past and that Khaled had bitten him during one such disagreement. An enraged Qaiyoom chopped off his son’s hand from the wrist.
Pahadishareef police said thatthe accused has been taken into custody and sent to 14-day judicial remand.
