NEW DELHI:
Ashok Gajapathi Raju will be resigning as a central minister, along with his TDP colleague
Y S Chowdhury, tomorrow, the day on which he was to be part of the inaugural ceremony of the aviation ministry-organised air show in Hyderabad.
The air show,
Wings India 2018, is being held from March 8 to 11 at Hyderabad’s old Begumpet airport.
“The chief guest for Wings India 2018 is the
Telangana CM in any case,” said a senior aviation official when asked who will inaugurate Wings India if Raju quits as aviation minister. Late on Wednesday night, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu announced snapping of TDP’s ties with
NDA and that the two TDP MPs will quit from the central ministries.
Wings India 2018 is being organised jointly by the aviation ministry, Telangana government and Airports Authority of India. Telangana is the host state.
