After the Supreme Court put stay on the Central Government's proposed amendments to "Master Plan 2012", which was meant to provide relief to the traders from ongoing sealing drive, the AAP train its guns against the BJP holding it responsible for the plight of traders.
AAP leader and party's Delhi convener Dilip Pandey said in a Press conference that the BJP's intention was never to provide relief to the traders who are ruined by this ongoing sealing drive.
"It is in the knowledge of everybody that the BJP-ruled municipal corporations have collected crores of rupees in name of conversion charges and have done a huge scam. They have ruined the traders of Delhi in name of sealing and yet no relief has come as the Supreme Court has refused to accept the amendments proposed by DDA to the Master Plan," said Dilip Pandey.
He said the AAP has struggled with the traders and even took to roads and raised their concern in Parliament but the BJP stood indifferent.
"The BJP has deceived all by saying that solution to the sealing would be made by doing amendments to the Master Plan. But, we were apprehensive that the solution given by the BJP is not enough and this is proved by what happened in the Supreme Court," said Pandey.
The AAP reiterated that in order to provide relief to the traders the corporation should waive the conversion charge with immediate effect and later on the BJP-led Central Government can bring in an Ordinance to provide relief to traders. "But they will never do that because their intention is not to provide relief to the trading community suffering from the ongoing sealing drive," said Pandey.
The AAP alleged that the Central Government has control over all the agencies and all over all the Government machineries but yet they are not working for providing relief to the traders.
