The AP State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has re-launched e-wallet facility with revised features from March 8 to provide quicker advance reservation for long-distance services.

This e-wallet account can be opened with zero balance, the e-wallet holder can have 5% cash back over basic ticket amount after journey made on the strength of ticket purchased through e-wallet.

Instant refund

The account-holder also gets instant refund of fare against cancellation of ticket purchased through this mode and he/she can transfer money to another e-wallet swiftly without incurring any cost.

In a statement released on Tuesday, RTC Executive Director (Operations) G. Jairao said smart phone users could open e-wallet account by downloading APSRTC app from Google playstore/App store and after clicking on the ‘wallet’ icon and signing up.
