Danny Sullivan's Tweet About Model 3 Should Make Tesla Thinking

Danny Sullivan (Wikipedia) is not the last person in the tech world. Being the co-founder of Search Engine Land last year he joined Google as an adviser at the search division of the company.

About 10 days ago he twitted why didn't buy a Tesla Model 3. He wrote that his main hesitation for buying a Model 3 was that Tesla's flagship Model didn't have Apple CarPlay / Android Auto. This is something that increasingly more and more drivers would want to have in their cars.

Comparing Model 3 to Chevy Bolt, Sullivan wrote that his Bolt has both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In fact, Chevy bolt does have few advantages of Tesla Model 3 and Apple CarPlay / Android Auto isn't even mentioned in that Torque News article to which I just linked in this paragraph.

Sullivan then goes and writing "If we can send a Telsa past the moon, we should support those within a Telsa. Meanwhile back on Earth, my Chevy Bolt supports both wonderfully."

Then in a different tweet he suggests the nation's largest car rental companies to put a window stickers on the cars that have support Apple CarPlay / Android Auto.

In fact, Toyota's newest vehicle refresh will have Apple Car Play. Android Auto and Apple Car Play are excellent automotive apps, but on road trips 2 hidden weaknesses and one strength quickly become apparent.
