Tenterfield tourism organizations will have now can grab an opportunity to further lift their profile with the nomination for the Country and Outback Regional Tourism Awards, as this prestigious award is open.
The regional tourism awards are held annually to acknowledge excellence in tourism across the state.
The entrants are made up of tourism businesses, events, marketing organizations, clubs and individuals all aiming for excellence in their industry.
The winners of the Regional Tourism Awards gain finalist status upon entering the NSW State Tourism Awards, and if successful, go onto the National Tourism Awards.
The award presentations will be held in Orange on Saturday, July 28, 2018 amid a busy weekend of activities for visiting entrants.
Rhonda Taylor, general manager of Destination Country and Outback, is encouraging all regional operators to consider entering the awards this year.
Nominations close on Friday, May 25, 2018. The award categories cover a cross-section of the industry including attractions, festivals and events, tour operators, restaurants, accommodation, food tourism and best digital presence. There’s also a special award for outstanding contribution to tourism by an individual.
