Two men have died in separate car crashes in NSW on Monday.
A two-car crash on the Central Coast left one man dead, while another man died after a single-vehicle crash near Lake Macquarie.
Emergency services were called about 6.25pm to Berkeley Vale to reports of a two-car crash, and found a Ford Laser hatchback smashed into the back of a parked Toyota Hiace van.
The 41-year-old driver of the Ford died at the scene.
About 4.30pm in Rathmines, emergency services were called to reports a car had hit a power pole.
The 65-year-old driver was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.
Initial inquiries by local police and crash investigators suggest the 65-year-old man may have suffered a medical episode.
Police from Tuggerah Lakes Police District and Lake Macquarie Police District continue to investigate both incidents, and reports will be prepared for the coroner.
