Jain Irrigation has been awarded integrated drip irrigation project worth Rs. 287.66 crore

Micro Irrigation Major, Jain Irrigation said that it has bagged order for Integrated Irrigation Solution Project in Karnataka.

Visvesvaraya Jala Nigam Limited, a Division of Water Resources Department of Karnataka, has placed this order on the company through National Competitive Bidding, company said in a filing with BSE.

The value of project is Rs 287.66 crore. This is a Unique Project under which water is lifted from Upper Bhadra Canal and provision of irrigation through Drip Irrigation system to 16193 acre along with filling of 59 Nos. of tanks will be undertaken under single work in Tarikere taluka of Chikkamagaluru district in Karnataka.

More than 5000 farmers will be benefitted by this transformative project.,filling added.
