A 31-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at his residence in Roop Nagar under Ashoka Garden police station area on Monday.
Police said that the Suresh alias Bheema Majhoka was found hanging with the ceiling and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
At the time of the incident deceased’s wife along with her children had gone to her parents house. The deceased committed suicide in the afternoon and in the evening his cousin spotted deceased hanging and police were informed. Based on the information police reached the spot and started investigation.
Police have not found any suicide note and statement of the family members have yet to be recorded. The reason remained unknown and would be investigated.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered by the police and started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 40-year-old man was found dead near railway tracks under Misrod police station area on Sunday. According to police, a man in the age group 40 -45 years was found in an injured state and on the receipt of the information a police team rushed to the spot and took the injured to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
The deceased was identified as Vinod Singh of Gandhi Nagar Misrod. In the initial investigation police found that the deceased was hit accidentally but nothing could be ascertained as the post mortem report is awaited and after receiving the post mortem report further details could be revealed.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered by the police and started further investigation.
