A man has been arrested by detectives investigating two bank robberies in Perth last week.
Police released CCTV images of a man on Monday as part of its investigation into the two separate robberies.
The first robbery occurred at a bank in Innaloo at around 3.45pm on Wednesday afternoon.
Two days later, police said a man entered a bank on Benningfield Road in Bull Creek at around 4pm on Friday.
Similar to the first incident, the man approached the counter and gave a note to the bank teller.
As the teller began to follow the instructions, the man who handed over the note suddenly ran from the bank empty-handed.
On Tuesday police said as a result of information provided by the public to Crime Stoppers, a 46-year-old man had been arrested by Regional Investigations Unit detectives.
He is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
