Firefighters battle blaze at Sunshine Coast Airport
Fire has broken out in a hangar at the Sunshine Coast Airport.
Seven fire crews rushed to the Marcoola address when the fire took hold about 9.05am.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency spokesman said the hangar was on fire “end to end” with smoke coming out but crews had the blaze under control within half an hour.
Firefighters were still dampening down the building shortly before 10am.
Aviation firefighters were also assisting, he said.
It was unclear what was in the hangar at the time and what caused the fire.
