Panchayati Raj Education Officers and School Principals to keep a track of academic and administrative affairs along with maintaining a direct link with the state offices. "The focus of these interventions is to progress towards a paperless department," said Devnani.
The technological intervention follows focus on promoting girls education high on the agenda of the department. The state will set-up digital classrooms in 150 Sharde Balika Hostels. The HRD ministry will felicitate the setting up with allocating 7.81 crores in these classrooms. "63 Sharde Balika hostels will have solar PVC system enabled power plant with a cost of 2.84 crore," said Devnani, who argued that enrollment in government schools have seen among the highest rise in India.
He said that nine hostels in the Mewat area have started on the lines of Kasturba Gandhi Hostels. "Those girls in class 9-12 who have not got the bicycles in the rural areas and lives far from the schools will get the transport voucher of Rs 20-25. Rajasthan Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan has allocated rs 25 crore for the same," said Devnani. The department will set-up a toy bank in every school with the help of donors. Besides, all teachers training centers will have named after Pandit Deendayal Upadhaya.
