Our politicians seldom fail to amuse us, either inside or outside the Parliament. Whether it is Lalu Prasad Yadav (watch here) or current vice-president and former BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu's innovative acronyms, there are enough occasions for Indians to have a hearty laugh.

The latest to join the political circus is senior Madhya Pradesh leader Kailash Vijayvargiya. The BJP general secretary seems to have taken his popularity as a singer quite seriously (watch here) as he participated in this year "Bazar Battu", an annual 'hasya kavi sammelan' in Indore, dressed up as the late 'King of Rock' Elivis Presley — well almost.

Holding a guitar in his hand, Vijayvargiya performed Hindi songs, enthralling the audience who came to see the politician don a new avatar.

The BJP leader also posted his pictures and videos on his Twitter handle.

This is not the first instance of Vijayvargiya's love for "fancy dresses". Last year, he dressed up as Sachin Tendulkar and went on to compare him with Narendra Modi, while calling Rahul Gandhi and Opposition leaders as members of the Kenyan cricket team (racism alert!)

Watch it below:

Moreover, Vijayvargiya, who has been in the news lately for his jingoistic statements, has also dressed up as Chanakya, Lord Krishna, Lord Vishnu, Netaji Subash Chandra Bose and Swami Vivekananda. Now that's some versatility at play!
