CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister,
Vipul Goel, has said that in today’s time, no work is small or big.
Goel who was replying to a question of media persons regarding the Pakora stall set up by the Congress Party on Tuesday, said that by setting up Pakora stall, the Congress party was insulting those engaged in selling tea and pakoras.
"The Congress party sometimes targets tea sellers and sometimes pakora sellers. Such acts of the opposition party hurt the self-esteem of those engaged in these businesses. The people of the state would not tolerate such acts of the Congress Party. It was only due to these acts that the Congress Party is being rejected by people in maximum states," added Goel.
He said BJP had formed government in 22 states. The Prime Minister
Narendra Modi has given the slogan of
Skill India. If anyone sells tea or pakora in front of a big office or industry, it does not mean that it’s not a source of employment. Giving the example of McDonald’s, he said today McDonald’s had branches in the entire world. Being an Indian recipe, Indians have patent on Pakoras and, if worked well, it could become a global recipe, he added.
Lashing out at
Deepender Singh Hooda, he said the Congress MP had said in the Lok Sabha that if McDonald’s did not get place in Gujarat to set up their branch, they should come to Haryana where two-foot-long potatoes are grown. What could be more hilarious than this, Goel asked.
