BSE, NSE in talks with SGX to launch new product

NEW DELHI: Domestic stock exchanges BSE and NSE are in negotiations with the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX) to launch a new product similar to SGX Nifty, media reports said.

According to the reports, both the bourses are close to signing a deal with the SGX.

The report added that the agreement is likely to be completed by April end, and trading on the new platform will begin in June.

The product will be traded on IFSC in GIFT City, Gujarat.
