Kumaraswamy: Are BJP leaders ‘bhogi’?

more-in

Questioning the BJP’s move of bringing Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to its public meetings, JD(S) State president H.D. Kumaraswamy asked whether the State BJP leaders had become “bhogi” (indulgent) and were seeking the intervention of a “yogi” (ascetic).

Afterall, they have indulged in all kinds of merrymaking like watching porn in the legislature and receiving kickbacks via cheques, he said.

He wondered how Mr. Adityanath, in whose constituency hundreds of infants died because of negligence at a hospital recently, could address a Jana Suraksha Yatra in another State.

“A person who could not protect infants in his State has no right to talk about safety of people in other States,” he said.
