Sharon Bio Medicine has announced temporary suspension of operations of the API plant located at L-6, MIDC, Taloja, Dist. Raigad, Maharashtra, on the directions of the Central Pollution Control Board in accordance with the provisions of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986. The company has applied to Maharashtra Pollution Control Board for consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. The stock of Sharon Bio Medicine slumped 3.17 per cent at ₹6.10 on the NSE.
