Kathak exponent V Anuradha to spread dancing charm at Hyderabad

The noted Kathak exponent of the city V Anuradha Singh will spread the charm of her dancing style at a three-day musical event to be held at Hyderabad. She will be performing on Tuesday, marking the second day of the event.

She has been invited by Department of Language and Culture, Government of Telangana and Akruti Kathak Kendra, Hyderabad. She will be performing at event ‘Antarang 2018’ organized in the memory of Pandit Durga Lal. There is a going to be a charm everywhere there.

V Anuradha Singh is one Kathak exponent who does not need any introduction as she has created a niche for herself in classical dancing style. In the past years she had been a part of various dancing events on national and international platforms.

Anuradha about her performance says, “I am really contented to be a part of this programme. Moreover, I am excited to stage a performance before the art lovers as people there also enjoy the traditional art. It will be a far great experience.”

Hailing from Bhopal, Anuradha is noted Kathak dancer for her innovation and improvisation in traditional Kathak technique.

Rhythmic understanding, ability to extemporize with speedy rhythms and preserving pure Kathak classical style are some of her qualities.

Experimenting with classical Sufi Kathak, she has evolved a refined, sophisticated style in pure classical form, based on fast speeds, swift turns, mind thrilling footwork, delicacy of movements and impressive expressions.

Anuradha is one of the well known dancers of solo classical Kathak dance. With enchanting stage presence she has earned acclamation for intense and sensitive dance presentations.
