Manu Bhaker, ISSF World Cup debutant, struck her second gold medal for India, taking their medal tally to seven in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Manu, 16, had won the first World Cup gold medal on Sunday in the 10m Air Pistol event and now she has added another to her tally in the 10m Air Pistol mixed team event.

Along with partner Om Prakash Mitharval, Bhaker won the gold medal in the mixed team event. Manu and Mitharval totaled 476.1 in the final and won India's third gold medal here.

In the individual event, the Indian debutant shot a total of 237.5 to prevail over home favourite Alejandra Zavala Vazquez, who finished second with a total of 237.1.

Frenchwoman Celine Goberville finished third with a score of 217.0.

Manu's teammate Yashaswini Singh Deswal signed the best World Cup placement of her career, scoring 196.1 points and finishing fourth in her first final appearance. (Shahzar Rizvi creates world record in 10m air pistol event at ISSF World Cup)

DEEPAK KUMAR, MEHULI GHOSH HELP INDIA WIN 6TH MEDAL

Mehuli Ghosh and Deepak Kumar won India their sixth medal at the ongoing ISSF World Cup in Mexico.

In the 10m Air Rifle mixed team event, Mehuli and Deepak won a bronze. The duo, competing as India 2, shot 435.1 in the five team final, finished behind the Romanian pair of Alin Moldoveanu and Laura-Georgeta Coman who shot 498.4 for silver.

China's Xu Hong and Chen Keduo won gold in a world record score of 502.0.

The pair of Ravi Kumar and Apurvi Chandela, who competed as India 1, also made it to the finals and finished fourth on a score of 392.6, ahead of the second Chinese pair, who also made it to the finals.

It was Mehuli's second medal of the competition after having won Bronze on the first day of competition, in the Women's 10m Air Rifle.

Deepak Kumar also had luck smiling on him finally, after getting beaten by teammate Ravi in a shoot-off for the bronze in the Men's 10m Air Rifle event on competition day two.

However, it was the pair of Chandela and Ravi Kumar who topped the qualification rounds among the 19 competing teams, shooting a combined total of 837.9, ahead of the gold-winning Chinese pair who shot 835.2.

Deepak and Mehuli had qualified in third place for the finals with a score of 834.3.
