Vivo having officially announced the innovative APEX smartphone in China, now looks to be heading in the same direction as Asus, Ulefone, and other smartphone makers who decided to copy the iPhone X design.
The soon-to-be-announced Vivo V9 will reportedly be a mid-range offering from the Chinese smartphone maker and could be sporting that now-famous notch in the front.

The Vivo V9, as per GizmoChina, should be the successor to the Vivo V7. Leaked photos of the alleged device have surfaced on the internet shedding some light on the design of the device. The front of the V9 has a notch like that of the iPhone X, however, it seems to be smaller in size. There appears to be a small chin as well, something the iPhone X had avoided. With reduced bezels on all sides, the Vivo V9 will be capable of giving a high screen-to-body ratio.
On the back, we see a dual-camera system positioned in the top left corner, like the iPhone X. There is also a rear fingerprint sensor positioned at the top half of the device just above the Vivo logo. As per the report, the handset may have a metallic body.
