Former Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) chairman M K Bhargav died here today after a prolonged illness, family sources said. He was 78. Bhargav, suffering from a liver issue and other ailments, breathed his last at his house in Old Palasia area in the city. His mortal remains were consigned to flames at Tilak Nagar crematorium. Bhargav was a well-known figure in the state's cricket circle.
He had also served as the MPCA secretary. He was associated with the umpiring panel of the Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI) for a long time.
