CAIRO—The family of Mohammed Morsi, Egypt’s former elected president, says his health is deteriorating in prison, raising a potential political flashpoint weeks before a sensitive presidential election later this month.
Mr. Morsi, a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, has been denied outside medical treatment in prison, family members say, prompting them to ask that a delegation of British officials be granted access to the former president.
