In a booster shot for commercial vehicles, reports indicate that the finance ministry has approved the vehicle scrapping policy which will allow companies to scrap commercial vehicles older than 15 years. The document will now go to Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council which will fix concessions by States and Centres.
