Instead of heading straight to Mumbai after hosting an event in Beawar – around 184km from Jaipur – actor-host Gunjan Utreja decided to spend a day in the Pink City. Gunjan visited the City Palace and Jaigarh Fort and met few of his friends in Jaipur. “I am really fond of Jaipur. So whenever I come here or to places near Jaipur, I try to extend my trip by a day or two so that I can soak in the heritage and vibe of the city. I wanted to visit Jaigarh Fort for a long time. So this time I went there. Then, I had lunch at a local restaurant in the walled city. I had gatte ki curry and it was simply heaven!” Gunjan told us.

The Chandigarh boy further said that Jaipur reminds him of his hometown. “Jaipur is also a planned city like Chandigarh. The best part about Jaipur is that it is modern as well as rooted to its culture and heritage,” he said.

Opening up on professional front, Gunjan is busy shooting for second season of a Web show, where he along with his brother, Ishan, interacts with various celebrities. “My first Web show was in 2012. Digital is the next big thing. Right now, I am looking forward to season 2 of Mickey Vicky Ka Program. I am also doing live shows,” he said, adding, “There is nothing new happening on TV. I think you can be a lot more creative on Web. There are no restrictions and also, you can reach out to younger people.”
