CHENNAI: The Greater
Chennai Corporation on Monday announced that it has resolved 95.5% of the civic complaints received via the 'Namma Chennai'
app from city residents.
In a statement, the corporation said 4,221 people had downloaded the app from Play Store on the
Android platform since the app's launch on January 23. "The app will soon be made available for iPhone users too on the iOS platform," the statement said.
It said the app had received 1,191 complaints since launch. "Of this, 1,138 complaints have been rectified," the statement said.
Complaints registered via the app reach the concerned city corporation official directly with notifications on the complaint's status sent to the complainant's phone from time-to-time, said corporation officials.
