Allison Janney won the Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role on Mar. 4 for her performance as LaVona Golden, the mother of Tonya Harding in the biographical dark comedy "I, Tonya." The 58-year-old actress grew up in Oakwood and attended the Miami Valley School, where her father Jervis Janney said she was active in a number of theatre productions.
