News video: Italy: 'Five Star' open to talks after election success

The leader of Five Star, the biggest single party after Italy's election, says that the anti-establishment movement is ready to talk and ready to govern.

"We feel the responsibility to give Italy a government and for this reason, first of all, we need to acknowledge that today coalitions don't have the numbers to govern," Luigi Di Maio, 31,  told a news conference on Monday.

"And that's why we will take on this responsibility, a big responsibility, to give Italy a government.

So I would like to tell the international community and everyone watching us, even investors, but generally Italian and European citizens, that we feel this responsibility." Having once rejected talk of power sharing, Five Star now says it is open to discussions with other political parties..
