WA Police are hunting for a man they believe could be connected to two separate armed robberies in Perth last week.
The first robbery occurred at a bank in Innaloo at around 3.45pm on Wednesday afternoon.
It's understood the man waited in line for some time before approaching the counter and handing the teller a note.
The man allegedly said he was in possession of a firearm.
The teller, concerned for their safety, put an amount of money inside a bag provided by the man, who then ran from the bank.
Two days later, police said the same man entered a bank on Benningfield Road in Bull Creek at around 4pm on Friday.
Similar to the first incident, the man approached the counter and gave a note to the bank teller.
It again said he had a firearm.
As the teller began to follow the instructions, the man who handed over the note suddenly ran from the bank empty-handed.
It's not known at this point why this occurred.
The man is believed to be between 45 and 55-years-old, around 165 centimetres tall, light skinned and with a medium build.
Anyone with information in relation to either incident has been asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online.
This can be done anonymously and rewards are offered.
