In Jammu & Kashmir, the mastermind of the Sunjawan army camp attack and Letapore CRPF camp attack, Jaish e Mohammed self-styled operational commander Mufti Waqas was killed in a surgical operation in Hatwar area of Awantipora in Pulwama district this evening.

Defence spokesman told AIR that there have been no civilian casualties or collateral damage in the operation. He said, Waqas is the 2nd top terrorist after the killing of JeM operational commander Noor Mohd Tantrey in the same area in December last year.
