Oscars 2018 Winners Live Updates: Here’s the complete winners list; Get Out wins Best Original Screenplay Award

The 90th Academy Awards has kickstarted with few of the awards already announced. Sam Rockwell bagged the Best Supporting Actor Award for his outstanding performance in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Road, Missouri. The consensus is that this year's best picture has boiled down to a two-horse race, between The Shape of Water and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri - the former may edge out the Martin McDonagh directed black comedy despite the latter winning at the Baftas and coming out on top at the Globes, reported The Guardian.

There is also a lot of anticipation for Gary Oldman winning the best actor award for Darkest Hour, Frances McDormand for best actress for her film Three Billboards, and Sam Rockwell and Alison Janney for the supporting actor nods. Shape of Water is leading the nominations count with 13.
