Hockey World Cup schedule announced

The International Hockey Federation (FIH) on Sunday announced the pools and match schedule for the upcoming Men’s Hockey World Cup to be held at the Kalinga Stadium here from November 28 to December 16.

The 16 teams have been divided into four pools. The pool-A consists of Argentina, New Zealand, Spain and France while Australia, England, Ireland and China are in Pool B. The matches will be held among Belgium, India, Canada and South Africa in Pool C. The three-time world champion team Netherlands will play against Germany, Malaysia and Pakistan in Pool D.

The pool-wise matches would be held from November 28 to December 9, with two matches per day, added the FIH officials.
