TMC afraid of BJP's performance in Bengal: Dilip Ghosh

Press Trust of India  |  Kolkata

The BJP today said the was "afraid" of the saffron party's performance in the state, and asked Minister Mamata Banerjee to stop "day dreaming" about capturing power at the Centre. "and TMC should stop day dreaming about capturing power in They should stop calling themselves an party as they have ceased to exist in other states apart from Bengal," state BJP Dilip Ghosh told reporters here. Mocking TMC's effort to cobble up a third front against the BJP, he said it will never see the light of day as political parties like the RJD, SP and BSP were busy saving their own political space. The TMC is afraid that if the BJP can garner nearly 50 per cent votes from one per cent in Tripura, it won't take much time in capturing 50 per cent from the existing 25 per cent vote share in Bengal, he said. There is no political force in the country which can stop BJP from capturing Bengal in next elections, Ghosh said. Reacting to that BJP in-charge of Tripura, may be sent to the state to help the party in expanding base, he said it is for the central leadership to take a final call on it. "But you have to keep one thing in mind that and Bengal are not same, so only one can't make a difference.

We need of hundreds of to make a difference, and request our leadership to send in more leaders to help us," the BJP said.
