Man killed in crash

Police were up to late yesterday on the scene of an accident which occurred at Pierre Road, Charlieville, where a man was killed.

Details were still sketchy, however Newsday was told that a male occupant of a white wagon was driving along Pierre Road, Charlieville, at about 5.30 pm, when his vehicle collided with a trailer truck.

The man’s identity was not yet revealed by police officers who were processing the scene and clearing the wreckage.
