Unguarded ATM stolen from Sohna road

GURUGRAM: An unguarded ATM belonging to ICICI Bank was stolen from Islampur village on Sohna road around 2am on Monday.

It has not been clarified yet as to how much money did the ATM contain.


According to police, the CCTV cameras installed in the booth were also found to be non-functional.


An hour before the theft, the cops visited the area and closed the unguarded ATM, but after they returned, thieves broke the shutter of the ATM and uprooted the machine with the help of a rope.


An FIR has been registered in the matter against unknown persons under Section 380 (theft) of the IPC at Sadar police station. TNN
