Dilip Buildcon stock jumps 1% on Karnataka highway order

Dilip Buildcon was trading higher in the morning trade on Monday after the company informed exchanges that it has bagged two projects worth Rs 4,473 crore.

The scrip was trading 1.04 per cent up at Rs 963.65 at around 9.35 am (IST). It opened at Rs 965 and touched a high and low of Rs 968 and Rs 957.55, respectively. The Sensex was trading down 243 points, or 0.71 per cent, at 33,803 at around the same time.

In a BSE filing, the company said it “has received Letter of Award by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for two new hybrid annuity projects in Karnataka”.

The project pertains to six-laning of 56-km Bangalore-Nidagatta section of NH 275 in hybrid annuity mode. The company got this project at a bid price of Rs 2,190 crore.

The second project is six-laning of km Nidagatta-Mysore Section of NH 275. The company said it had bid for Rs 2,283 crore. The construction period for the 61.1-km project is 30 months.
